Comments:

  • In 1889, at the age of 28, Miss Taylor was reported to be visiting Las Vegas, Territory of New Mexico on her way to El Paso, Texas[5]
  • Professor Taylor’s tenure at UNM spanned the period from its initial instruction in 1892 which focused on Normal (Teacher) instruction and secondary school/college preparatory through the transition to formal post-secondary, college curriculum in 1897.
